The scab is gone

As many of you might remember, my anal gland sploded the day after Thanksgiving and I had to see the vet and get my butt fixed (and shaved).
I've had a big ugly scab on my butt ever since, and the girl became obsessed with checking it (she wanted to make sure that I wasn't walking around with a glob of poop on my butt).

Today the scab fell off! I'm so happy! Now the girl won't keep looking at my butt. My hair is growing back, but it still looks pretty weird right now.

OK, that's enough embarrassing butt pictures for the day. Either give me a treat or put away the camera!
Oh, and we have solved the mystery of the toys. The girl bought those toys to give to dogs at the AZ Humane Society, so she isn't a complete grinch. It doesn't explain why she is such a grinch with us though. We've been good all year, right?

Glad to see you are healing well and the hair is growing back. Coming OR going you are still very handsome! The girl did a nice thing for the needy pups. Don't rule out surprises...even with no tree Santa will find a place to leave pressies for you!

By the way, that was very nice of your girl to donate the toys to the animal shelter!

p.s. Come visit my blog today to help with cancer research.

Glad you bottom is better Comet. I am sure it was most annoying to have your girl constantly inspecting you. Hope your hair grows back in soon.
