Attack of the killer tongue!

I'm licking one of my favorite things.

Can you guess what it is?

It's not peanut butter.

It's not ice cream.

It's not a nice juicy steak.

It's not Comet.

Give up yet?

It's my girl!

I'm not sure what's wrong with her.

She doesn't enjoy it nearly as much as I do!

C'mon. Let me lick you again!!

Wubba Wrecker

For Thanksgiving, our girl gave us our very first Wubbas. Our friends were right, these are fun toys!

They're pretty tough too!! I couldn't break the squeaker or rip it open. Comet stole mine, and then chewed one of the tails almost off.
Look at what he did to his! He only has one and half tails left!

Look at the way he is looking at it. Pure Evil!

Let that be a lesson to all toy companies! No toy is too tough for us (or Comet's teeth).
++++
Our girl mailed the first batch of DWB Christmas cards yesterday afternoon. She will try to get the second batch in the mail by the middle of next week, so start checking your boxes.
We've received a couple of cards already. The first was from Simba in the UK, which arrived on Wednesday. Yesterday, we received cards from Faya and Dyos in Switzerland, and Homer in the Netherlands. Today, cards arrived from our American friends Joey and Tanner; Moco, Foley, and Dawson; and Arabella. The ecards are starting to come in too! This is just so much fun. We'll try to visit everyone's blog to give a personal thank you, but if we (ahem...our girl) are a bit slow, we apologize.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our friends!

We have a lot to be thankful for this year. We have a nice house that we get to sleep in all day and night, with comfy furniture, and lots of toys.

We have a girl who likes to play tug with us.
And she understands the universal signal for "I want a belly rub!"
We even thankful for each other (although we rarely admit it)
And are thankful for all of our friends who read our blog.
Whew! All of that being thankful has worn me out.
I'm thankful that the girl is putting away her camera so I can nap!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Weird Wednesday Weather

When we woke up today it was raining. Ick. We hate the rain. That's why we live in Phoenix. It didn't rain too long before it stopped, and then the sky turned bright colors. This is what the sky looked like at 7 am when looking towards the front of our house (looking west).
This is what it looked like looking off our back porch (facing east)
Ten minutes later, it looked like this! (front)
And this (back) - and started raining again!
We think we are going to hide in the house all day!

Sweet Treat

In the kitchen, on the counter
Shining bright, and looking fine
Was a yummy for my tummy
Mandarin orange called Clementine
Oh, my darling, oh, my darling
Oh, my darling Clementine
You are cold and sweet and juicy
I had to eat you, Clementine
Oh, my darling, oh, my darling
Oh, my darling Clementine

You are lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Clementine

Toy Story

Our girl was very tricky with that big box of toys. She decided that we needed a lot of toys for our Christmas card this year, and then made us pose with all the toys. She won't let us spoil the "surprise" of the card by posting it here yet.
(disclaimer: no stuffies were injured or killed while making our card)

Now that are cards are printed (and she got them in the mail today so we don't need to take new pictures) were are going to give the toys to the homeless dogs at the Arizona Humane Society.

She bought 144 toys! That's almost enough for one toy for each family in the Dogs with Blogs holiday card exchange (sorry, we're one short).

We are donating these rope toys on behalf of all of our friends in Asia and Australia!

These tennis balls and stuffed bones are for our friends in the US.

These are for our friends in Europe.
BLU couldn't resist licking these toys for our friends in Canada, Mexico, and Central America.
These toys are for all of our friends who wanted e-cards only.
(Our girl was too lazy to figure out where they all lived.)

That's it!
No more toys.
Comet double checked to make sure all 144 of them were in the box.

Our girl is going to deliver them next week, so the shelter dogs will have them in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is our little way of returning the friendship and kindness that the DWB community has given us. We hope all the dogs in shelters will find this kind of love and happiness!
ps. Do you know how hard it was for us to not destroy any of the toys?! Oh, the temptation!

Mine! All Mine!

We regret to inform our dear friends that Hana and Joey were right. Our girl claims that the toys are NOT for us. But I think she's just telling Comet that so he isn't jealous that they are all for me!
I LOOOOOOVE all my new toys.
~~BLU
ps. don't show these pictures to Comet or my girl!

Fed-ex Fortune

The Fed-Ex man brought these boxes to our house yesterday.
I wonder what's in there. Do you think it is something for us? I just gotta know what's in there!

When the girl went to take a shower, I opened the box. WOW!!!! Would you look at all those stuffies? Amazing!!
How long do you think they will last?

Do you think she will notice if I snuck one out?
BLU had my back today. She said the girl just turned the water off and we needed to close the box.
There! Good as new. She will never know we snooped! Do you think that our girl took all of your good advice and signed us up to be toy testers?

Faster than a clicking camera

We got new toys.
Our girl foolishly gave them to us before she had a camera in her hand.
In the 30 seconds it took her to grab her camera, I already broke my toy.

Comet took his sweet ol' time breaking it. This is what it looked like new.
And then 3 minutes later.
Ha! If BLU is just going to destroy the toys, then I'm going to keep both of them.
Take that! Now they're mine! All mine!
I don't think so!!

I enjoy the sweet taste of destruction!
This is what it looked like after both toys 'sploded!
When can we get more toys???
