I did something this morning that I wish I didn't do.
I went running through some of the tall grass at the back of my yard. It seemed fun at the time, but then I found out that it was really scratchy.
The grass seeds got stuck in my fur and made me itch all over.
My girl and grandma had to pull the scratchy seeds out of my fur.
It wasn't fun!

oh my! how did your girl find them in all your hair?!
How horrible. You would think running through any grass would be glorious..I hope we don't have any of that scratchy grass around my house, my mum will be furious with me if there is.

Man, I bet it wasn't fun! That's happened to me before too, but with really, really sharp little weird things... I couldn't even walk 'cause it was so painful! And then having my human pull them from my fur was even worse.

We have sticky seeds called foxtails that get in my fur and we also have fuzzy caterpiller seeds from the elm trees. And let's not even talk about horrible goatshead burrs!!!! It is very hard to look your best this time of year in Albuquerque.
