Shaping up for the new year

Thank you everyone for your kind words of support. We all miss BLU very much.

My girl said I was getting a bit too chubby, so maybe I need to get in shape this year.

How does this thing work?

Maybe we should just stick to good ole fashioned walks....

It's a sad day at the Spitzwits house today. WE had to say goodbye to BLU.

She was 15 years old and lived with my girl for 14 wonderful years.

I will miss you, my buddy BLU.

We all love you and will miss you very much. RIP BLU

Favorite spots to nap

 This is my favorite napping spot. It's like my own personal cave, and I can see if my annoying new sister is trying to sneak up on me.

Sometimes though, my girl leaves it all wet, so I have to nap outside of my cave until it dries.

Big Update

Wow, it's been a really long time since we posted and a lot has changed. Get comfy, and I will give you all the details.

First, our girl really decided that she like the boy she was dating. About a year ago, we moved to his house.

it took a while for us to really feel at home, especially BLU. 

Mostly because the boy has a big bouncy dog named Sunny. BLU is old and cranky, and she and Sunny didn't like each other much at first. They still aren't best buds, but at least they get along now.

Then they used up all our blogging time fixing their house.

BLU had fun replacing the windows.

Our girl and the boy got married, so now we have 3 human sisters plus Sunny in our family.

That keeps us really busy, so we are often too exhausted at the end of the day to update.

House Guests

Our girl said to get ready, because we have some company coming to visit.

Here they are! Sunny and Duchess.

Ummm...... I don't think our house is big enough for everyone. Let's go outside. Follow me! I'll show you the way!

I think we're missing somebody. BLU, BLU, come join us!

Wait, now we are missing Duchess! Where did that silly girl go?

There she is! She found BLU's hiding spot under the porch.

More Hiking?

Can you believe my girl made me go hiking again? Why does BLU get out of it? At least she tortured two others too - Sunny and Bandit

Hiking? Me?

On Christmas day, the girl and her new bf decided that I was a hiking dog. Excuse me? Do I look like a hiking dog? I tried to be stubborn and made the girl's bf pick me up and carry me part way up the mountain. The girl has now decided that I need more hiking practice, so she took me on her own today.

Can you believe that she really thinks I am going to climb this mountain all the way to those towers on the top!

Whew! That's a long way up. Are we done yet?

Do you seriously want me to go all the way up there?

Finally, at the top!
Wait, what do you mean this is just the FIRST stop for a water break?

Taking my next water break. We still aren't at the top yet!

My girl promised that this is the last section before we get to the top. She better not be telling a lie!

Finally, I made it to the top. Ok, where's the car?  Wait.... what do you mean I have to go back down the mountain too? How is this fair?

Whew, at least we have a road to follow down the mountain!
Wait.... a road? Why didn't we just walk up the road in the first place?

MY new toy!

Look at the new toy the girl bought for me! I know it's mine. She keeps telling people she bought bright BLU a new car.
[girl adds.... I said a bright blue new car!!]
I've decided that I'm not going to let Comet ride in it, because it is just MY car!
OK, let's get a move on it and go to the park or something!

Hoops, poops, and oops?

HELP!! I think my girl wants to run away and join the circus. She bought ANOTHER hula hoop! She tried to make me jump through it (like she made poor Casper do) but I refused.

She's crazy with her hoops. The other day she took me for a walk at the same time she was hooping down the road. She was keeping it up ok until I pooped! Then she had to hold my leash, my poop bag, and try to keep up the hoop. I don't understand why she wasn't happy.

Eskies were right!

YEAAAHHHH!!!

Our eskie friends were right - our girl was holding Casper!! He wasn't smiling though because he was very tired after going on a long walk and having to jump through hula hoops!

Traitor!!!

Last weekend our girl disappeared for a few days to "visit a friend". Look what we found in her camera. Traitor!!!! At very least we should have been invited too!

Guess which (very tired) eskie friend of ours that is!

Spring flowers

Wow, look at all the pretty wild flowers that bloomed after all that rain. Hopefully that will bring lots of bees for me to chase!

Puddle Jumpers

Guess what! It rained over the weekend.
During our walk, our girl let us play in the puddles.
That was fun!




We will be going on more walks soon. Our girl just signed up to walk 60 miles in 3 days! Wow, that's a lot. We don't even think we can do that. Good thing dogs aren't allowed. Fresh veggies!

Every Saturday morning our girl gets up early and leaves the house. She comes home about an hour later with one or two big bags of stuff.

We wonder what she brought home this time.

WOW! Look at all these yummy things.

Wait.... she has cheese, beef, and salmon, and she is offering me a carrot. A CARROT? You gotta be kidding me. I'm holding out for something better.

I'm not picky. I'll take the carrot.

Bargain Bin Bonanza!

Our girl was pretty stingy with the gifts for Christmas, but look what she brought home from Petsmart today. TOYS!!
Lots and lots of fun toys. She says she can buy more for us when they are on SALE!!
We don't care that they are Christmas toys and the holiday is over.
All we care about is shredding them. Let the fun begin!
