Tumbleweeds

Our girl is saying HBO words today about all the tumbleweeds she swept up. To top it off, she keeps giving us mean looks. We don't understand why. Look at the color of the tumbleweeds. They're gray. The color doesn't match either of us, therefore we must be innocent.

(the girl adds..... Look at that pile. I just swept 3 days ago. 3 DAYS AGO!!!! In just three days, these shed monsters left this much hair!!!)

Our tree

For those of you who are not part of the DWB card exchange this year, this is our card.
And this picture was almost our card.
As usual, BLU is trying to collect payment before completing the job.
Hmmm...maybe I should make sure all the toys are the highest quality.

This one passes my inspection.

BLU decided to inspect a few toys too.
Hmmm.... maybe that's why the girl didn't let us keep the lovely tree for more than an hour.
This is what our tree looks like now. Pretty boring, huh?
We think our girl misses the fun tree too!

ps. The monster still has our girl. It trapped her in bed and didn't let her go to work today. We think the monster should have let her go long enough to actually decorate the tree!

Attack of the snot monster!

This morning, something scary was in our girl's bed.
It made loud coughs and snorts. There were several AAAAHHH CHHHOOOOs!

I hopped on the bed to investigate this scary monster. It growled at me.

Then from under a big pile of blankets, it reached out and grabbed me. HELP!!
At least it left an assortment of tasty treats, nicely wrapped in tissue paper.
And no..... it wasn't BLU! It was much scarier!

Public Service Announcement

My dear friends, I have a warning for you. If you see a can like this, don't fall for the tempting smell or the delicious taste.
Otherwise your bottom will toot and you will stink up your house.

Please heed this warning and avoid this can!
Or you will have to run away from toxic fumes!

Hiding

I didn't want Santa to catch me doing anything naughty, so I spent all weekend hiding in my crate.

Up on the rooftop

Up on the rooftop is a man.
We can hear him, yes we can.
The girl’s at work and we’re home alone
We’re going to bark until he’s gone

Woof, Woof, Woof!
Who’s on our roof?
Woof, Woof, Woof!
Who’s on our roof?
Up on the rooftop
Stomp, Stomp, stomp
We’ll scare him off
with one big chomp!

On Thanksgiving it did rain
And our roof top did not drain.
Then the water leaked in our house
Ran down the wall as fast as a mouse.
Woof, Woof, Woof!
Who’s on our roof?
Woof, Woof, Woof!
Who’s on our roof?
Up on the rooftop
Stomp, Stomp, stomp
We’ll scare him off
with one big chomp!
The girl came home and paid the man.
He fixed the leak the best he can.
Now our house is sealed and dry
And when it rains our girl won’t cry.

Woof, Woof, Woof!
Who’s on our roof?
Woof, Woof, Woof!
Who’s on our roof?
Up on the rooftop
Stomp, Stomp, stomp
We’ll scare him off
with one big chomp!

Attack of the killer tongue!

I'm licking one of my favorite things.

Can you guess what it is?

It's not peanut butter.

It's not ice cream.

It's not a nice juicy steak.

It's not Comet.

Give up yet?

It's my girl!

I'm not sure what's wrong with her.

She doesn't enjoy it nearly as much as I do!

C'mon. Let me lick you again!!

Wubba Wrecker

For Thanksgiving, our girl gave us our very first Wubbas. Our friends were right, these are fun toys!

They're pretty tough too!! I couldn't break the squeaker or rip it open. Comet stole mine, and then chewed one of the tails almost off.
Look at what he did to his! He only has one and half tails left!

Look at the way he is looking at it. Pure Evil!

Let that be a lesson to all toy companies! No toy is too tough for us (or Comet's teeth).
++++
Our girl mailed the first batch of DWB Christmas cards yesterday afternoon. She will try to get the second batch in the mail by the middle of next week, so start checking your boxes.
We've received a couple of cards already. The first was from Simba in the UK, which arrived on Wednesday. Yesterday, we received cards from Faya and Dyos in Switzerland, and Homer in the Netherlands. Today, cards arrived from our American friends Joey and Tanner; Moco, Foley, and Dawson; and Arabella. The ecards are starting to come in too! This is just so much fun. We'll try to visit everyone's blog to give a personal thank you, but if we (ahem...our girl) are a bit slow, we apologize.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our friends!

We have a lot to be thankful for this year. We have a nice house that we get to sleep in all day and night, with comfy furniture, and lots of toys.

We have a girl who likes to play tug with us.
And she understands the universal signal for "I want a belly rub!"
We even thankful for each other (although we rarely admit it)
And are thankful for all of our friends who read our blog.
Whew! All of that being thankful has worn me out.
I'm thankful that the girl is putting away her camera so I can nap!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Weird Wednesday Weather

When we woke up today it was raining. Ick. We hate the rain. That's why we live in Phoenix. It didn't rain too long before it stopped, and then the sky turned bright colors. This is what the sky looked like at 7 am when looking towards the front of our house (looking west).
This is what it looked like looking off our back porch (facing east)
Ten minutes later, it looked like this! (front)
And this (back) - and started raining again!
We think we are going to hide in the house all day!

Sweet Treat

In the kitchen, on the counter
Shining bright, and looking fine
Was a yummy for my tummy
Mandarin orange called Clementine
Oh, my darling, oh, my darling
Oh, my darling Clementine
You are cold and sweet and juicy
I had to eat you, Clementine
Oh, my darling, oh, my darling
Oh, my darling Clementine

You are lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Clementine
