switcheroo

So, BLU got the squirrel that poops food. Guess what I got. My old toy that has a hole in it!
And then the mean girl stole it and threw it in the garbage can! How could she throw it away? This is one of my favorite toys and the first toy I got when I came to live with the girl and BLU.

Oh, wait. What's this? It looks like a package with a new hotdog toy.
MMMMMM..... I can't wait to taste it.
It squeaks again! I'm so excited that I'm going to cry!
I'll forgive the girl for throwing the old one away. I love my hotdog toy! Now I'm going to squeak it all night!

Yummy squirrel poop

I want to thank all of our friends for making our girl feel guilty about leaving town and not bringing home any treats. Today she went to Petsmart and got me this squirrel. It doesn't squeak, but it does something even better.
It poops food! How cool is that.

First I squish the squirrel.
Then I bite its butt and it poops out food. Genius!
When I throw the squirrel across the house, food pops out.

What a great toy!

I love my new squirrel.

ps. our computer is fine. Rory was just trying to show our girl how to do something.

Fun visit

After all the hard work we did helping our girl with her taxes, can you believe what she did?

She got out her black box and left town again. This time she went to New Orleans. She was gone for 4 days before she came back home. She didn't even bring us any treats!
But today we got a treat. Rory and Matthew came to visit us today. They took some of the girl's dirt (we guess they like digging too!!). Then Rory did something on the computer. So.... if we aren't online for a while, blame Rory for breaking our computer. hehehe.
We like Rory. He's fun to lick. Comet likes him because he lets Comet pee on the furniture. The girl gives Rory mean looks for that.

We also like Rory's son, Matthew. Matthew is fun to jump on and he likes it when we give him kisses. All in all, today was a fun day.

How taxing!

We thought of a great way for our girl to get money to buy us treats. Get a tax refund! Here, try this program.
It says it will help you get a big refund. Let's load it into the computer.

Here's the box of receipts and papers you've been collecting all year.

Wow! Look at all the papers that are crammed in this box!
You gotta be kidding me. What kind of system is this?
Let's dig in and see what we have.

I think we need to sort these into different piles.

Hurry up BLU. I can already taste the yummy treats we are going to buy with the money from the girl's refund.

special delivery

Thanks for all the kind words for our girl. Her tummy felt better and she went back to work today. While she was gone, the UPS man brought us a package. We had to wait until the girl got home from work to open it. We wonder what it could be? Yummy treats? New toys?
Hmmmm.... There isn't much in this box.

Just heartworm pills. What a rip off! Can you believe that she didn't even order any treats for us? What a cheapskate!

Upset tummy

Our girl has an upset tummy and stayed home from work today. My job is to keep the bed warm for her while she goes and stinks up the bathroom.
I could get used to this job!

Hard Labor

We've had a really big pile of dirt in the driveway since the girl had the new fence put in.
It's hard to tell how big it is, but I'm standing on top of it.

The girl moved most of the dirt into the back yard where she wants to make the patio. Look at all this dirt. It would be so fun to dig in!

Now the pile of dirt is much much smaller!
Let's get this patio done so we don't have to hear about it anymore. I'm all ready to pound the stakes in.
And now we can compact the dirt. I think I will let the girl and her friend Tony do that, since the machine makes really loud scary noises.
Hurry up! Let's get these bricks down.
I need to watch carefully, so they don't block the entrance to my underground city.

The entrance to the city is still open. Lets compress these bricks again!
The bricks are in. The edgers are in. The city entrance is still open! Good job!
Hmmm. This new patio is kind of nice. It's shady in the late afternoon.

The girl thinks she still needs to get a few more tons of gravel, but we think it looks pretty good. Now, where's a cold drink and a comfy chair? We're ready to lounge around on our new patio.

Crime and Punishment

Our girl committed a horrible crime. She spent way too much time looking for bricks, going out of town, and doing homework for a class she is in that she neglected our blog and our friends. She should be punished! I know just how to do it. I will shred the notes for her homework.
Hmmm..... I think this is the start of her punishment.

I just feel like I should do more. Destroy more. Punish her more.
Goodie goodie BLU shoes disagrees with me.
She's just happy our girl remembered to feed us!
Phooey to that! Let that be a warning. Next time we get neglected, something else gets it!

Goldbricking

We are starting to get worried that our friends will think we are goldbricking for not visiting them. It couldn't be further from the truth. We are just bricking. Or at least our girl is trying to. Ever since she had the wall around our yard built, she has been talking about expanding our patio. You can see the spot she wants it, where we just have dirt and no gravel in the yard.

Her problem is that she can't decide on what kind of brick she wants. So she spends all of our blogging and visiting time going to landscaping stores to look at bricks. How dull is that!

She thinks she might kinda, sorta like these bricks.
She thinks these are pretty, but they cost more money than she wants to spend.
She thinks these have a cool shape and might be fun, but worries that she might get bored with them.
BORED with bricks!! Is it possible to ever be excited about bricks???

Usually when she can't decide, it means that she hasn't found what she likes. Which means that she is going to steal more of our blogging time looking.
I think she should leave it just like this. It's easier for me to dig this way.
What you do think she should do?

BLU: I don't care what she does as long as she doesn't block the underground city I'm building.
