Fast Food Feast

We love to eat yummy fast food.

I'm licking my lips just thinking about it. Look at the deeelicious lunch our girl brought us.

A basket of fried chicken, and a bone-burger.

Thanks for the chicken! It looks so tasty.

I need sharp teeth to bite into this bone-burger.

Trying to get to China

I heard that if you dig a hole deep enough, you will reach China. Since the Olympics are there, I thought it would be interesting to visit. So, I started digging in the hallway.

I barely got an inch down, when my really really really MAD girl made me stop. She muttered something about digging myself straight into a 6 foot deep hole.

I was very confused, because I think I would need to dig deeper than 6 feet to reach China. Can any of my friends explain what my girl means?

When I sleep on the couch, my girl uses me as a pillow.

She picks at me like a monkey and pulls my fur out with her hands, instead of using a brush.

And the most annoying thing in the world.....

she smashes her face against the top of my head and then smells me!!

and claims I smell like berries!

Lightning Strike!

The pigeon wasn't the only thing hit by the lightning.

Look at this!

The lightning hit the tree in our back yard.

You can see where it burned the branch!

And then the branch fell on our back porch.
Our girl chopped off the big broken branch.

You can see more burn marks on the tree.

Next time there is lightning, we are going to hide under the bed!

We don't want to get burned like the tree and the pigeon!

I'm checking to see if the branches would be fun to climb.

Maybe I can see over the fence....

or even take myself on walks through the neighborhood.What kind of branches are these?

They are not fun to climb on at all!

I even poked my nose sniffing them.
I guess I won't climb them afterall!

Struck by lightning!

No, we weren't struck by lightning, but something was last night! We had a really bad storm with lots of thunder, lighting, wind, and rain. Our electricity turned off, then on, then off, then on, then off again. It was really really scary! REALLY SCARY!
BLU and I were pacing and hiding, and the girl thought we were being silly for being afraid. That was until a big lighting bolt went KABOOM and hit a pigeon and knocked it right out of the air! And it CRASHED right in front of our house! Who was the silly one now? After that, the girl was scared of the storm too!

Here's the roasted pigeon. We wanted to taste it, but our mean girl wouldn't let us.

ps. BLU's claims she wasn't trying to be 80's cool with her pink leg band - our girl put it on her to cover a hot spot so BLU didn't lick it.

Hitting the bottle....

I discovered the coolest toy today!
It's fun to throw and bite....and it makes lots of noise.
How come I didn't know about this toy before?

Payback time!

This is how I got my revenge on the girl for stacking toys on me while I napped.
First, I waited for her to fall asleep. Then I walked up to the bed and BARKED really loud at her. For no reason. Just to get her back. Then she fell asleep again. and I BARKED really loud at her. I did this a few times so she would be fuzzy when she woke up.

Step 2 of my revenge was to put a hard bone on the floor. This is when she steps when she gets out of bed in the morning. She was really tired (from my barking) and stepped on it. hehehehe.

In case she missed the bone on the floor, I had a back up plan. I put the sharp dinosaur shank in her slipper. She saw that one though, and didn't get poked.
For my final revenge, I waited until she made her bed.
Then I jumped on it and made a mess of the covers again! heheheheh!
Now that she's learned her lesson, I'm going to enjoy my bone! And it tastes so sweet..... or is that the taste of revenge?

Poor BLU, she has sooooooo much to learn about revenge. I don't think that taught the girl a lesson at all. Now I'm worried that she might try putting toys on me when I sleep. So..... Here's your warning......
Stack toys on me and I will barf on your rug.
There's plenty more where that came from, so consider yourself warned, my girl.

You would never believe what kind of holiday treat we got!

Our girl made us a corn dog sundae!We never knew such a yummy thing could exist.

But it does!

Cold ice cream.
All mixed into one delicious treat! Which part should I eat first?

Even though we had scary thunder and fireworks, this was the best 4th of July ever!

Happy 4th of July!

Thanks to the great sleuthing of our friends, Comet found his head. Now he's trying to blow it off again with fireworks! Happy July 4th to all of our friends!

We're not looking forward to the fireworks tonight. They make lots of loud bangs and the sky gets bright. Hmmmm....maybe that isn't so much different than the thunderstorms we had last night. We didn't like those either. Hopefully we will get to eat a hot dog or something to make up for the scary noises.
