I wonder where all that water is coming from.

Hmmm.... it seems to be dripping off our roof. How weird.

BLU, get away from there!! It's a trick. The girl is going to splash that water all over you!

Here's something you don't see too often in Phoenix. RAIN!!!

We typically don't like rain and hide inside when it rains. But the girl was sitting on the front porch, so we had to explore the front yard when it was wet.

It was kind of fun, until a really loud thunder boomed. Head for the hills!!
or at least into the house...
We're done playing outside. Come on girl, get in the house and close the door.

splosion!

Last night there were lots of splosions outside. Big booms and bright lights and howling winds. We were scaredy cats and hid on our girl's lap. This morning though, we were ready to make splosions of our own!

KaBoom! There go our stuffies!

Begging worked!!!!

Our girl made yummy smelling fish noodle soup.

She made too much and decided to share some of the noodles with us.
YUM!!

Too hot to chew

Our girl came home yesterday! She didn't take Comet with her afterall, and told us to stop following Maggie and Mitch's advice! At least she gave us toys when she got home.

She didn't buy them on her trip though. These are some of the left over toys that she bought when she did some guilt shopping a few months ago. Can you believe she didn't let us have all of those toys yet?

We're kind of scared to chew up our toys. We don't want her to leave again just because we made a chewing mess, like she did when Comet destroyed the TP roll.
Plus, it's just too hot to chew.

We think we have a new record of keeping stuffies alive.

Stowaway

Uh oh! I followed Maggie and Mitch's advice and tore up a full roll. Our girl got upset and decided to run away. She pulled out the black box again.

We're not going to allow it. She isn't going anywhere without us!

I'm serious. I'm not moving.

If she's going to run away, then I am going with her!

I wonder if I zip it up, if I can just ship Comet somewhere for good. Maybe then the girl will stay home and pay attention to me. After all, she is trying to run away from Comet.

Stealing attention

Our girl has been neglecting our blog and our friends this summer. We tried to have a chat with her, but she didn't pay much attention. Maybe this will get her attention. I stole the TP bone while she was taking a shower.

mmmm....tastes yummy.

I'm going to rip it up and make a mess if you don't pay attention to me.

Sheesh! Even that didn't work. Hopefully she will be less busy soon.

Scary Storm

There's a scary storm outside.

I'm going to hide on the bed where I'm safe.

Bath time

It was 115 degrees out today. HOT! Our girl decided that the perfect way to cool down was to take a bath outside. We know that many of our friends think water is a great way to cool off. WE DON'T!! We HATE water.

I refuse to look at the girl if she's going to torture me with a bath.Put the camera down and rinse this soap off of me so I can go back inside.

Hmmm.... I hate the water but it actually does feel cooler.
We're almost dry. Let us back in the house now!

abandoned - again!

Last week, our girl abandoned us. AGAIN! Can you believe it? And to make matters worse, we ran out of greenies while she was gone.

We were deprived of treats and she was eating lobster in Maine. How fair is that?
At least we got these cool new chew toys when she came back.

What's a dog gotta do to get a good nap around here? Our girl decided it was time to break fix something else around the house.

Hmmmm.... it looks like there is a leak under here.

Yep! I think I found the source.
It was coming from this silver snake. Good thing I killed it and pulled it out.
What do you mean it is still leaking? That should have fixed it.

Hey Tony, can you help us fix this? If you help us, I'll tell you secrets about the stupid things our girl tries to do when breaking fixing things.

While you're here, can you also look at the dishwasher. It's not working right either.
Nope, that's not it. Let me show you what's broken.

I think our girl just needs to buy a new dishwasher.
