Cruel and Inhumane Treatment

Yesterday, our girl decided to get revenge on Comet for his night of naughtiness. She decided to torture him all day (except she tortured me too, which totally isn't fair, since I was trying to sleep the other night!!)This torture device should be outlawed. We can't believe that it would be humane to make us smell food cooking all day.

And look - it's yummy beef soup. We had to smell it cooking for 8 hours!
After throwing a fit, we finally convinced the girl to give us some. This hardly makes up for 8 hours of torture!
Look at how much she kept for herself! And she didn't have to smell it cooking all day.
We have to admit though, it tasted as good as it smelled.

We usually don't eat all of our dinner at once.

But this was soooo tasty.
We ate.
And ate.

Until our tummies were full and our bowls were empty.

Lesson learned

Comet's log:
3:00 am: I'm awake, bored, and want to play. Solution: hop on bed with rope toy and growl. 3:01 am: Girl starts to move. Growl louder and make scary noises.
3:02 am: Girl is scared and turns on lamp. Shake rope toy in her face.
3:03 am: Get tossed off bed and yelled at.
3:04 am: Mark leg of chair.

Girl's log:
8:05 am: Call vet to make an appointment for shots. Ask if it is possible to neuter Comet AGAIN!

Wilted asparagus

About a year and a half ago, we told you about the giant mutant asparagus growing in our front yard.

That's the strangest asparagus we've ever seen!
Here's a close up picture of it from a few weeks ago.
It looks like it has lots of little fingers on it.

Today, we heard a giant CRASH!!!
We went to investigate and this is what we found. The giant asparagus was on the ground.
Look at how big this thing is. Do you think it would taste good if the girl cooked it?
What are these green things at the top? Are they giant spiders? Are they fingers?
I don't think it's funny that the girl put some of them on me.
As long as we're outside, I think we should go for a walk.
Sounds like a great idea to me!

Dinner won

I seriously considered taking the biscuit. However, upon further "persuasion" from BLU
I decided to eat dinner instead.

However, now that I've finished eating, I'm going to see what I can do to score a biscuit. Just don't tell BLU!

Not a snitch

The dino bones are still missing. Our girl said she would give me a biscuit if I showed her where the dino bones are buried.
BLU said she'd kick my butt and eat my dinner if I showed the girl.

What to do? What to do?

All gone

It turns out that we couldn't destroy the dinosaurs as quickly as we can destroy stuffies. No worries though. I took care of hiding the evidence.

Dinosaur attack

After Hana called our girl ancient, we began to wonder how old our girl really is. Well, we think we have an answer. Look what we found buried in the back of our girl's closet. DINOSAURS!!! She really is ancient!!
Maybe if we eat the evidence, nobody will know that our girl is old.

Good plan! I'm chewing as fast as I can.

Quick! Hide! I think sombody is coming.
I'll hide in my crate to get rid of the evidence.

Party Time!

All day yesterday, we cleaned the house for a big party. Our girl moved our crate out of the living room and added a few extra chairs. We bet she invited all of our DWB friends as a surprise for us.
She also spent the afternoon slicing, and chopping, and arranging food and flowers.
Look at this spread! We are sure to have something all of our friends will enjoy.
We have a tray of 4 cheeses. We know Joey will like that.
There's another fancy cheese on this tray. We put clementine oranges all the way around it because we know that Lorenza, Maggie and Mitch, and Casper love to eat them.
Here is a plate of shrimp. We Looooooove shrimp. We think our friends will like it too. Maybe Murphey will like the limes, since he likes lemons.

Here are some veggies for our friends on a diet. There isn't any dip in there yet, but we have lots in the fridge.
I'm not sure why the girl put grapes on the table. None of our friends can eat those because they are bad for dogs!! Next to the grapes is a nice tray of cucumbers, olives, and pita chips. Hummus goes in the other bowl. We love hummus!
We think this is a pretty good spread. We even have the trash bag convenient for our friends who are so inclined to snoop in there. Now all we have to do is wait for everyone to show up.

The girl got out all the fancy glasses.

And a bunch of stuff that we don't think our friends would actually like to drink.
Wait just a minute! We just found out that the party isn't for us and our friends. What a ripoff! The girl said that we have to spend the party in the back yard. This is sooooooo unfair!!
You can't believe how torturous this was. We could smell food cooking. We could hear people laughing. And we had to stay outside in the cold!

And then, to top it off, it turns out that people brought gifts for our girl. And where are our gifts???? We are still waiting for them.
Look at the pretty vase with the red flowers. The girl got the vase and flowers as a gift.

She also got these gifts. We really don't think she needs more alcohol. Did you see how much she already had?
And what is this bad dog thing? Are her friends calling us bad? Are they giving us tips on how to be bad? And why is Joey on the cover?
At least we each got a couple of small pieces of cheese after everyone went home.

Wubba Update

Guess where I found this ball.It was in the middle of the red wubba!
If you look really close, you can see a green ball still in there. What should I do next?
Should I try to get the green ball out?
Should I try to get the balls out of the blue wubba?
Or should I just play with the ball I already pulled out?
