drip...drip...drip

What's a dog gotta do to get a good nap around here? Our girl decided it was time to break fix something else around the house.
Hmmmm.... it looks like there is a leak under here.

Yep! I think I found the source.
It was coming from this silver snake. Good thing I killed it and pulled it out.
What do you mean it is still leaking? That should have fixed it.
Hey Tony, can you help us fix this? If you help us, I'll tell you secrets about the stupid things our girl tries to do when breaking fixing things.

While you're here, can you also look at the dishwasher. It's not working right either.
Nope, that's not it. Let me show you what's broken.

I think our girl just needs to buy a new dishwasher.
We'll take our pay in steaks, thank you very much.

Raking leaves and seeds

I think our girl has her seasons mixed up. She said it was time to get out the rake to clean up all the leaves and seeds that fell during the spring. What? I thought you were supposed to rake leaves in the fall.
She must have known what she was talking about, because look at this pile. It looks like a big pile of dirt, but is really full of millions of tiny leaves from our mesquite tree.

Here you can see all the seed pods from the mesquite tree. These are really hard and hurt if you step on them. We are quite happy she raked these up.
We know these piles of leaves and seeds look small compared to the big piles of maple and oak leaves some of our friends see in the fall, but they are HEAVY! Each pile weighs about 60 pounds!
Let's get these piles cleaned up and out of the yard.
Oh oh. It ooks like there are lots more seeds in the tree waiting to fall down. Don't tell me we will have to do this again in a few days! There better be a yummy treat in it for us!

Taste the Rainbow

The other night, the girl was nice enough to share some of her dinner with us. She made little pizzas out of tortillas and shared a little bit of the chicken and cheese with us. Yummy!
Today she went to the farmer's market and brought home these fruits and veggies. Doesn't everything look tasty? We're not quite sure about the curly striped Armenian cucumbers though. They just look weird. They are sometimes called snake melons, and you can see why!

I wonder if she will notice if I steal this yellow squash.

She did. But I was quick enough to grab this eggplant. Do you think I should taste it?

Hmmmm.... the green part isn't very tasty.
I think this grape tomato will taste better.
And a big chomp......
and squirt. Yummmmmm.....
BLU doesn't know what she's missing by refusing to eat vegetables.

Snooping

I'm bored with kibble. Is there anything tasty in here?
