The price of fame

Hey girl! Come check this out.
We're being spied on.

Look out the window. Do you see him?
He's been watching us from that car for 20 minutes!

What do you mean you don't see him?
Look closer! I'm not losing my mind!!

See! Told you he was watching us.
Who do you think he is?
Pupperazzi?
Rabid fan of our blog?

Willow Wednesday

I didn't catch any fish at the park, but I do have my winnings to spend. Maybe I can buy something tasty in Comet and BLU's neighborhood.

I bet I could buy some fish here!
Or I could get a yummy paleta (frozen fruit popsicle). I don't even need to walk here to get one. A man pushes a cart past the house almost every day selling them.

These treats look pretty yummy too, but I think they are for people, not dogs.

I think I smell something yummy. Let's follow this cart and see where it goes.

Jackpot! I'm going to spend my winnings on freshly grilled carne!!
Who wants some?

Walk with me....

Come take a walk with us.

First you have to stop every 30 seconds to look for kitty roca. If you can't find it, nibble on grass, instead.

Then, if your feet get hot or dirty, find a big puddle to play in.
(Ignore our girl's shadow that got in the way.)

Comet was too chicken to play in the water. He did take a little drink of the puddle water though.

That's it. That's our adventure for the day.

Willow Wednesday

Here I am at one of Comet and BLU's favorite parks - Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix.
There are some cool old building in this park.

And lots of different fountains.

You can read more about the park if you click here.

I like it because there are some big hills so you can get up high and see the mountains.

We like the hills too. You can watch the lake and the whole park from this spot. It's a fun place to explore, but our girl makes us walk sooooo far! The dog park part of the park where we visited yesterday is under the arrow marked #1 and our car is parked by the arrow marked #2. That's a lot of exploring (and peeing) to do!

I'm keeping an eye on everyone to make sure they follow all the park rules.

I think it's time to go explore more!
Even though you aren't allowed to swim in the lake, you can fish. Maybe I'll catch a yummy fish for dinner.

If the fish aren't biting, you can always find a friendly person to play cards with.

Look at how much money I won!!

Dog Park!!

Our trip to the vet yesterday was just for our yearly checkup. BLU got some mean sugar pills (glucose -a - mean) because she is getting old, but otherwise we are fine. After leaving the vet, I hijacked the car and made the girl take us to our favorite park. We didn't even care that it was raining a little bit.
At the park, we walked and walked, and WAIT! What is this? Why haven't we seen this dog park before?

Hurry up girl! Let us in! We want to play with the other dogs!

Ummm..... where are the other dogs?

Nobody is hiding behind this bush.
We looked and looked, but couldn't find anyone else to play with.
That's fine by me. I get this bucket of rain water all to myself!

Well I did, until Comet stuck his nose in my way.

Ok girl, we can leave. Nobody else is crazy enough to go to the dog park in the rain. Next time bring us when there is somebody to play with!

Car ride to ..

We got to go for a car ride today.
We stopped. Where do you think we are?

Ummm.... I think we are at the VET!
NOOOOOOOO!!!!
Hold on tight BLU, I'm gonna get us out of here!

ps. We have such smart friends. You all were so good at guessing what our girl does. She works in science education and provides training for science teachers. That's why she has all those books and boxes of weird stuff.

Willow Wednesday

Comet and BLU are convinced that their girl is playing in parks, eating steaks and biscuits, and having a party with friends every day when she disappears for many hours. While I was visiting, I played detective and followed her. This is where she goes.
Look, she even has a picture of Comet and BLU
How many books does she have in this place? Maybe she goes here to read so Comet and BLU don't bother her.

Here's a fun book all about animals. Look at how big it is!
I'm not sure why she wants a book about worms and fungi.
Rocks? You're kidding me, right? Who reads books about rocks?
Look what I found under the books! She has a whole box of rocks!! I think she might have a few rocks in her head, too!

She has lots of boxes full of weird stuff. Books, sand, cups, paper plates ....
...and rulers, and balls, and sponges, and balloons (maybe she is having parties here afterall!!)

I don't even want to know what she uses this for!

Maybe she's trying to build Frankenstein with all this stuff and these wires. Whatever it is, Comet and BLU are lucky they don't have to go to this place. It's scary and certainly not steaks or a party!!
Can you help us figure out what their girl is doing all day?

Poop head and potty mouth!

I have new nicknames for the two females in my house. From now on, I'm calling my girl Poop Head. She's been a real poop head lately by neglecting our blogs. She "claims" she is working a lot, but I think she is sneaking off to parties all day long. Even the pigeons in the neighborhood think she is a poop head. Today proved it. During our walk, one of them pooped on her head! From now on, she will be known as Poop Head!
I have a new nickname for BLU too. I'm calling her Potty Mouth. On our walk tonight, she was obsessed with finding kitty poop and eating it!

GROSS!! I think I'm going to barf! So from now on, BLU will be called Potty Mouth!

Comet doesn't know what he's missing. It was sooooooo tasty!
See what I have to deal with around here?!
