Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

The girl hasn't put up our tree yet, so I thought I would get her in the holiday mood by making snow. Do you know how much work it is to make snow in Phoenix? I'm exhausted.

ps. we received 4 more cards today. We received a card from Niko and Bentley that was drawn by their very talented mom. We also received cards from Randi, Cairo, and Hana. Hana was wearing one of the beautiful ribbon necklaces that her mom makes.

Working our paws off

The girl opened her card making sweatshop today. Now we know what Santa's elves feel like. And unlike our friend Lorenza, we didn't get to take lots of naps.

I hope our friends like all the glittery candies I'm making.
Don't they look yummy?
I hope this is the last of them. I'm sooooo tired.

Now I have to put them on all of the cards.

Coming soon..... to a mailbox near you.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!
We hope all of our friends have a happy thanksgiving and get to spend time with family and friends. This year, we have much to be thankful for.
We are thankful that our girl adopted us and gives us fresh water, food, treats, and lots of hugs and kisses every day. We know there are still lots of doggies out there looking for their furrever homes - and are thankful to all the rescue people who try to help them.

We are thankful that we have lots of toys to play with.
We are thankful that we have a nice yard to run around in and chase birds.
We are thankful that somebody was clever enough to invent doggie doors, so we can run in and out of the house whenever we want.

We are thankful for all the laughs we get from reading our friends' blogs and all the friendships that we have made, even though we haven't had the opportunity to sniff any of your butts yet.

Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!

Fresh, not frozen

My friends kept talking about getting to eat a big bird tomorrow.
I looked in my girl's fridge and there wasn't a bird in there.
Thanksgiving would be ruined without one, so it was up to me to provide for my family.

It may be small, but I bet it tastes delicious.

The girl must want to save it for tomorrow and cook it, because she took it away from me and wouldn't let me eat it.

Graduation

I graduated from my obedience class last night. Even though my girl had to hold the dumb hat on my head to keep it on, I must admit that I do look rather distinguished with it.

I love these men!

They tore up my road and made all sorts of scary noises but they did the Best. Thing. Ever!
They turned off all of our water.
Just as the girl was getting ready to give me a bath!
I love these men!

Other dogs are fun

I found out that I like to play with other dogs - even though they kind of scare me. I was very good at class on Monday. I let three dogs sniff me and I sniffed them. I even played with them a little bit. Playing with other dogs is a lot of fun - but it's still a bit scary. The girl promises to help me get over that fear. Even though next Monday is graduation from my class, the girl signed me up for the intermediate class so I could get more practice with other dogs. I like my special night out with the girl each week (at least the weeks she remembers to take me).

The girl took a couple of videos to show why she hates taking me and BLU anywhere. I think she's just being difficult.

When the girl goes to the leash closet, I go nuts and start jumping for joy.
And then BLU attacks me.
Then she makes me sit (and BLU gets in the way).
Then she grabs the leash, and I jump for joy again.
Then she makes me sit (and BLU gets in the way).
Then she puts the collar and leash on me and I jump for joy.

After she finally gets a leash on me, BLU is next and the whole process starts over.

Once we have the leashes on, BLU and I run back and forth between the door and body slam the girl. Once we get tired out, she finally lets us go outside.

I just can't understand why she doesn't like to take us out.

Meltdown

We've tried to update our blog a few times in the last week, but the girl's computer keeps shutting down on us. We think it is because our cheap girl thinks it is winter now, and refuses to turn on the air conditioning, even when it is still in the mid 90s. Then when she gets home from work, she hogs the computer so we can't use it.

We haven't been doing anything too exciting though. We mostly sleep during the day (because we are too hot!) Hopefully life will get more exciting soon.
