starving to death

This morning when we woke up, we were starving for breakfast.
But our food bin was empty.

Maybe we can eat Greenies for breakfast.
Nope! The Greenies box was empty too. Does that mean we will get biscuits for breakfast?

What do you mean that's empty too!! What kind of house is this that has no food??
Oh sure! Add insult to injury. There's no food for us, but look what the girl ate this morning! How fair is that?
Luckily, once the stores opened up, she went shopping. She got a big bag of food.
I better make sure it's the right kind.
Yep! It tastes right.
Oh good! It looks like she bought us some treats, too.

Yum! Biscuits!

And then she felt so guilty about making us nearly starve to death that she bought this whole giant bag of toys. We haven't got to play with them yet, but she said she would give us a toy later today (pictures tomorrow).

Now, she kind of feels guilty for spoiling us with so many "guilt toys" that we are going to hold a contest and give some away.

So, if you post a comment about the best "guilt toy" you got from your people, and what they were guilty of doing to you, we will put your name in a drawing and send some of these toys to three of you. Get your comments in by next Thursday (May 21) to enter the drawing.

Hi, Blue and Comet!
You had to wait for your breakfast while your Girl ate that funny pasta?? And then wait until the store opened??? Hmmmm.... not right!
Glad she got your kibble and treats and toys!
My mom has felt guilty just once when she was away for 2 days. I did not get a guilty toy but she gave me more treats than I am allowed to eat everyday!
Kisses and hugs

Hi Comet and Blu, I am so glad that your Girl went to get food for you guys. What a HUGE bag of toys! You must be in heaven! We can't wait to see pictures of you playing with them. Once time Mommy and Daddy left me with my Grandma and Grandpa for 3 days. They brought back a huge bag of cookies and a polar bear stuffy that is almost as big as me.:)

Love,
Teddy Bear

Good thing your Mom quickly bought new food for you & treats too & toys too! That's a HUGE bag of toys! Well, once my hoomans forgot about my Barkday. Yes! They actually forgot about my 1st Barkday! Could you believe that? They felt so bad, they immediately went out & bought a pathetic muffin for me which I had share with Faith(Chloe was not with us then). What made it worst was, Faith & Chloe had huge Barkday bash & presents too! I didn't get any. What horrible people they are but I have forgiven them. My last two Barkdays have been the bestest ever!

I am so glad that you guys managed to hang on until your Girl had the chance to shop for your food...I had to share a peanut butter and honey nine grain sandwich on Saturday because my humans had been to the store either!

What a good mommy! Extra treats!

We can't believe that pasta she had, it's the prettiest pasta we've ever seen!

My Mommy gave me one of her very own cows from her collection as she felt bad that I didn't have enough toys!(Daddy says he won't spend his hard earned money on toys for me!) Mommy however felt guilty & gave me one of her beloved cows!(I ATE IT!) Tell your girl she can't do that anymore, no more running out of food. Unless it results in toys!
