First I have to lick it all over.
After I bite off any remaining kernals, I bite a big chunk of the cob. I can usually eat one chunk, but my girl isn't sure if that's good for my tummy, so she takes it away after I get my first chomp. That's why I make it a big one.
Do any of you know..... is it ok for me to eat the cob?

Hmm, I don't know, but I've had corn in my lifetime and it's never affected me! It's soooo delicious! I'm drooling on the keyboard just watching you chomp on that cob!
I hope you and BLU have a grrrrEAT weekend!

It seems like chomping would be so good for your teeth and corn is in all kinds of dog treats and food. Plus you just make it look SO yummy (is it also buttered?)

Hmmm... i don't know if it's ok, but it looks delish!
Cobs are very bad for you Comet!!! They can cause an obstruction and they don't show up well on an X-ray so it is hard to detect if you are having a problem. I am sure they are delish but I think that you girl should not let you have them. Check with your vet.

I dont know but....it sure looks like fun!!
I will have to try that sometime.

Corn is yummy. My mom gave Arrow a corn cob and he ate almost the whole thing in 3 minutes! Then he pooped a lot for a long time. (He goes crazy for corn cobs now) Love your counter surfing pictures. Your so big you can almost do counter licking.
You look like you are having so much fun with your corn on the cob. I've never had corn before. We've heard that it is completely safe for dogs.

They say corn cobs aren't digestible. Oh and when I've grabbed them out of the trash I have always thrown them up a few days later. So no more corn cobs but hey have her give you the actual corn it's yummy.
Hi, Comet!
My mom gives me corn on the cob but she does not let me eat the cob. She has heard things about obstructions!

I hope you will put on your Trick-or-Treat costumes and enter the contest at Isis' and Hansel's blogs...I bet you look so cute in costume! http://halloweenspookee.blogspot.com/
NOOOOOOOO, it's very dangerous! Our friend, Putter had to have emergency surgery to remove it from her tummy. The cob won't break down in your body and will cause a blockage! Don't eat it, Comet! Stay safe!
Love ya lots
