Exotic visitor

This is our back yard. Let's see what kinds of animals we can find in it today.
Let's look in this tree.

Way up high.....

Can you see the bird?
We think he must be lost because he doesn't look like our normal birds.

It looks like he enjoyed eating our tree's flowers though.

Awww, it's a lovebird! Better put out some birdseed, maybe he'll stick around.

Hi, Blue and Comet!
A parrot?? Yes, he may be lost!
Can you adopt him?? You can train him to make funny noises!
Take care

Mom used to have a pair of peachy-faced loved birds YEARS ago way before she got us! She gave them to dad's cousin, Chrissy, because they made so much noise that they made her nuts! Chrissy loved them!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

What a beautiful tree and a beautiful bird. Did you chase the bird away or did you let him stay in your backyard?

Love,

Catching up on blogs today. Neat that you saw peacocks stroll through your neighborhood. Hopefully they're not there to stay though. I hear they can be noisy and demanding!

I think we all should take a trip to that hotel in Idaho!

That's very interesting isn't it? Smaller than my monkeys but more colourful. I've not seen my monkeys for a while. I like to do naturewatch.

We wonder if your visitor was Australian??? Our Mama says he looked like one of the colourful parrots she saw when she was there on a vacation. Wonder if he'll come back???
