Party Time!

All day yesterday, we cleaned the house for a big party. Our girl moved our crate out of the living room and added a few extra chairs. We bet she invited all of our DWB friends as a surprise for us.
She also spent the afternoon slicing, and chopping, and arranging food and flowers.
Look at this spread! We are sure to have something all of our friends will enjoy.
We have a tray of 4 cheeses. We know Joey will like that.
There's another fancy cheese on this tray. We put clementine oranges all the way around it because we know that Lorenza, Maggie and Mitch, and Casper love to eat them.
Here is a plate of shrimp. We Looooooove shrimp. We think our friends will like it too. Maybe Murphey will like the limes, since he likes lemons.

Here are some veggies for our friends on a diet. There isn't any dip in there yet, but we have lots in the fridge.
I'm not sure why the girl put grapes on the table. None of our friends can eat those because they are bad for dogs!! Next to the grapes is a nice tray of cucumbers, olives, and pita chips. Hummus goes in the other bowl. We love hummus!
We think this is a pretty good spread. We even have the trash bag convenient for our friends who are so inclined to snoop in there. Now all we have to do is wait for everyone to show up.

The girl got out all the fancy glasses.

And a bunch of stuff that we don't think our friends would actually like to drink.
Wait just a minute! We just found out that the party isn't for us and our friends. What a ripoff! The girl said that we have to spend the party in the back yard. This is sooooooo unfair!!
You can't believe how torturous this was. We could smell food cooking. We could hear people laughing. And we had to stay outside in the cold!

And then, to top it off, it turns out that people brought gifts for our girl. And where are our gifts???? We are still waiting for them.
Look at the pretty vase with the red flowers. The girl got the vase and flowers as a gift.

She also got these gifts. We really don't think she needs more alcohol. Did you see how much she already had?
And what is this bad dog thing? Are her friends calling us bad? Are they giving us tips on how to be bad? And why is Joey on the cover?
At least we each got a couple of small pieces of cheese after everyone went home.

Hi, Comet and Blue!
Not a doggie party but a birthday party for your Girl!
I am sure everyone had a great time... except you two! Being kept in the backyard was not nice!
At least you got some cheese after that!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza

Hi Comet and BLU, please give yor girl some sloppy kisses from us too. It's no fun to be locked out in the backyard. She should have let you run lose attacking guests and that yummy finger food.

How rude of all your girl's friends to bring presents for her and none for you! And you only got a few bits of cheese left over from all that food? I wonder how they could enjoy themselves at the party when you two were starving away in the backyard.

Your friend,
Niamh

Hi Comet and BLU,
Those cheese look so good.. **wipes away drool**. Gee, I can't believe the pawty was not for us. But well, at least your girl made up for it with some cheese.

Hmmm, was it your girl's barkday? She must be ancient once you multiple her age by 7!

Gosh, since you were banished to the backyard, I guess that meant you didn't get to wear your ribbon necklaces. Maybe that is just as well since your girl makes Comet wear the ribbons with the pink in it!

Did your girl use the ice cube holder thing for her guests? I recall the ice cube thing used to hold stuff for you two! Hopefully you slobbered on it before she used it for her guests. It will make them stronger.

You need to have a food party for all your DWB friends, and then banish your girl to the backyard!!!

Hey you two. My Mom took a look at your photos. She says that's sure a lot of alcohol there on the kitchen counter! :-)

Did you find out what was the big occasion? Was it your girl's birthday?

Your Girl made you play outside instead of being at the Party? I can't believe it! I am sure you would have been perfect hosts and have great party manners...maybe you should talk to her about this for future events. At the very least you should have the chance to pass through the buffet for a plate or two.
