Cruel and Inhumane Treatment

Yesterday, our girl decided to get revenge on Comet for his night of naughtiness. She decided to torture him all day (except she tortured me too, which totally isn't fair, since I was trying to sleep the other night!!)This torture device should be outlawed. We can't believe that it would be humane to make us smell food cooking all day.

And look - it's yummy beef soup. We had to smell it cooking for 8 hours!
After throwing a fit, we finally convinced the girl to give us some. This hardly makes up for 8 hours of torture!
Look at how much she kept for herself! And she didn't have to smell it cooking all day.
We have to admit though, it tasted as good as it smelled.

We usually don't eat all of our dinner at once.

But this was soooo tasty.
We ate.
And ate.

Until our tummies were full and our bowls were empty.

That soup sure looked yummy! You know what the perfect topper is after a nice warm bowl of soup...carrot cake with cream cheese frosting! Next time ask for dessert as well.

We're not sure what our Ma would do if we woke her up at 3.00am!!!! She's grumpy enough at 6.00am!!!! :) Those smells must have been very torturing indeed :)

Your girl is very brave to leave a torture device of meat right up there on the stove. I am sure if I was left with one, I would try to climb up and eat up all that delicious looking soup.

That does sound like torture. We think your Mom should give you extra portions of it to make up for making you smell it all day.

Oh my! at least you got to eat it too and she didn't keep it all for herself. So, in the end, you were rewarded for your naughtyness. i'd do it again! :)

Our G-Mom does the same torture to us. It's pitiful. She does give us a little taste however.
Glad you enjoyed the humans soup.
