First I dug a hole.
Then I checked to make sure it was deep enough.
Then I grabbed the body
and put it in the hole.
I positioned it just right.
Yep, the hole is the right size.
I said a couple of parting words to the bird.
And then filled the hole.Do you think the girl will find out? Do you think I will get blamed?
ps. the girl got the thorn out of my ear and I am ok.

Comet, I think you must have lots of experience digging holes to bury birds because that hole is the absolute perfect size for that birdie.

I think you did a really good job in burying the body. I mean, hey! You didn't eat or play with it right? At least you're doing a good thing of burying it away. It wouldn't be nice to see a dead bird corpse outside your yard everyday right? Kudos to you! You shouldn't get blamed for anything at all Comet. You deserve a cookie indeed.
