Spring Cleaning

Our girl decided that she needed to do some spring cleaning today.
She emptied out her closet and dresser and packed up a bunch of clothes.I kept a close eye on her. I wanted to make sure that none of my stuff went into one of those bags.
Wow! That was a big pile of old clothes she had.Her closet looks much neater now.

BLU and I did one final check to make sure that she didn't get rid of our stuff.
Ok! It's all ready to drop off at Goodwill now.
Let's load up the car.All that watching was exhausting. Time for a nap.

ps. The egg we found was a bird egg - we think a sparrow. BLU wouldn't even sniff it, much less taste it. We also found 3 pigeon eggs this week. I bit them open but didn't like the taste of them either. Eggs taste much better when our girl cooks them.

Hi, Comet and Blue!
My mom made the same friday and saturday! She thought it was going to be a one day task but it took her 2 days! Like your girl, she took away 4 big bags of clothes and shoes! And like you, I made sure my stuff was not in those bags!
Kisses and hugs

Good job checking that your girl didnt put your stuff in. Maybe your girl can fry the eggs after you cracked them open?

that was nice of your lady to donate her old stuff. I would have been way stressed that some of my Cuz might have got in that bag.

Our mom is always saying that she needs to clean out the closet but so far it's all talk and no action! At least your mom is on the ball!

Love ya lots

Good thing you two were on the ball enough to keep on eye on your girl just in case she tried to sneak some of your stuff in!!

Your girl sounds like our mom, when they get in that "spring cleaning" mode, it all has to go. Mom says her closet is amazing. I'm glad you made sure none of your stuff was in any of those bags. I know some of mine gets sneaked in when I'm not watching.

My family keeps talking about Spring Cleaning but so far I have been able to distract them on weekends so that they run out of time. BUT sometimes my stuff (like my really seasoned and soft rawhide chewie and stuffed hedgehog that I chewed the legs and face off of) mysteriously disappears...and I suspect them of "cleaning" up. So you were very smart to watch what went into bags.

I'm surprised at your self-control! Any dog who was really worried would have gone through the bags properly - pulled all of the stuff out and given each and everything a good sniff, lick and chew! Got to do your duty, you know - I mean, without us, where would those humans be?

When my Mom cleans out her closet, I make sure none of my stuff ends up in the give away bag either. You never know what they think is 'junk'.

Hi Comet and BLU,

I can never understand why people think that they must get rid of perfectly good toys just because they have a little hole in them or lots of slobber. Good thing you were so alert and watchful.

I am glad you did not eat the birdie eggs.
