Hairballs

BLU hopped on the couch with the girl this morning. The girl noticed that BLU's hair was coming out and started plucking her like a chicken. The girl plucked a big ball of hair off of BLU's legs. She then decided to get a brush. BLU ran away, so the girl grabbed me and attacked me with the brush. She was able to brush my back and sides, but I hate having my rear legs or butt brushed. I got growly and she gave up.

Here are the hairballs the girl got off of us. All of BLU's hair is from the girl plucking it out with her hands. At least my ball is from the brush. While the girl was taking pictures, I decided to eat the hairballs. hehehehehe. She didn't like that and tackled me and pulled the hair out of my mouth.

I ran and hid under the covers. The girl can't brush me when the covers are in the way.

Weekend update

I think I made a mistake waking the girl up early on Friday.
I got my food, but then she got ready for work and left EARLY! What a rip off!
Then she came home from work early. Instead of taking us somewhere fun, she put clothes in her small black box. Not again! What is wrong with that girl?

She didn't leave right away; her friend Crystal came to the house. Crystal came in and played with us for a while, and then she and our girl left together - with the black box.

We like Crystal. She loves to pet us. Her dog Jazz borrowed our blog last November when she was out of town. We just found out that Jazz crossed the rainbow bridge. That was very sad.

At first I thought the girl packed the box for Crystal, but then Liz showed up. The girl really left us again. We had a fun weekend with Liz, and then the girl came home Sunday evening. She brought Crytal with her. Crystal spent the night at our house, but she was boring when she was asleep. That was no fun, and she hogged the couch. BLU was a bit peeved, since that's where she likes to sleep.

Crystal had to go to the airport really early, so the girl got up to see her out, then went back to bed. BLU and I hopped on the girl's bed while she slept for a couple more hours. Usually we only sleep there when she isn't in it - more room for us.

Now everything seems back to normal. The girl put the black box in the closet. We hope it is a long time before she leaves again.

Wake up!

I was hungry this morning. Really hungry. I guess that means my tummy is settled and I'm ready to eat again. The problem was that there wasn't any food left in my dish.

I had to wake my girl up. I tried poking her. I jumped on the bed. Nothing worked until I made a lot of noise.

This is my favorite way to make noise in the morning. It gets the girl right out of bed.
Now where's my food?

Watch out Ronaldo!

Here I am practicing my soccer moves and getting a yummy treat. What could be better?

Ronaldo better watch out! I'm going to be an even bigger superstar than him!

Upset tummy

The girl spread her germs to me! I had a really bad tummy ache all day yesterday, and kept throwing up. The girl wasn't happy to come home from work to see little puddles of puke in the house. Last night I got tired of her chasing me around the house with the cleaner, so I went into my box to sleep. I spent most of the evening in there. It's quiet and BLU can't bother me.
I'm feeling back to my normal self today and the girl is healthy too.

ps. For those who commented about our last post about painting the house. No, it didn't change color. The girl hired a really bad painting company about a year and a half ago and the paint keeps falling off the outside of the house. They've had to come back and fix it 6 times!

Sick girl and scary men

After the girl's last trip, we wished that she would stay home and spend more time with us. We thought we got our wish on Thursday. She woke up and started making all sorts of interesting noises in the bathroom. She even threw up in the garbage can, which make it really hard for me to keep my nose out of it. It smelled so interesting.

She wasn't very fun though. When she wasn't in the bathroom, she was sleeping. Then, to top it off, some scary men came to our house. They sprayed the outside of the house with the hose, and then they spent the day scraping and scraping. Every time I saw them by the front door or window, I went nuts. After all, I needed to protect my sick girl. The girl didn't like that, so she locked me in the crate. No fair. BLU didn't have to go in the crate.

The girl was still sick on Friday, and the scary men came back. The covered all our windows so we couldn't see outside. I spent most of the morning in the crate. They finished in the afternoon, and the girl let me out of the crate. I don't know what they did, but they left a big pail of paint in the back yard. I peed on it.

The girl is still kind of sick today. At least she is awake for more than 10 minutes at a time and eating something yummier than crackers. Begging for crackers is no fun!

Another trip for the girl

The girl did it again. Last Wednesday, she pulled the scary black box out of the closet and filled it up. I hate it when she gets out the box. Next time I see this, I think I'm going to rip it to shreds. Maybe that way she will stay home with us.
At least Liz came and stayed with us. We like Liz. We get greenies every night when Liz visits. The girl was gone for a long time. She didn't come home until late Sunday night.

I wasn't happy at all!
Then to top it off, the girl claimed that she ran into my twin while she was out of town.
I think the girl needs to get glasses. I don't see any similarities. Do you?
BLU

I don't know what BLU is complaining about. You should see the picture the girl took of "my twin".

Here I am, enjoying a quick romp in the yard. Notice how handsome I am. Look at how bright and white I am.

Now compare me to this creature. Look at all that gray hair. How could she even think we were similar?

I found out where the girl went and saw these ugly inferior copies of us. She went to a place called Yellowstone.

She didn't have to leave. If I knew she wanted to see Yellowstone, I could have made that happen. Just because I usually make Yellowtrees doesn't mean I couldn't switch. We have plenty of stones in the yard that I could make yellow for her.

I feel pretty....

I feel pretty,
Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty and witty and gay,
And I pity
Any girl who isn't me today.
I feel charming,
Oh, so charming
It's alarming how charming I feel!
And so pretty
That I hardly can believe I'm real.

See the pretty girl in that mirror there:
Who can that attractive girl be?
Such a pretty face,
Such a pretty dress,
Such a pretty smile,
Such a pretty me!

A Spare Gus

I think most of us know Gus Dagger, but the other day, the girl started talking about how much she loved a spare Gus. We didn't know there was another Gus, much less have A SPARE GUS!

She went on and on about how much she loved spare gus. Then she decided to eat him! YIKES!

She put a Spare Gus in her salad.

She chopped up Spare Gus for ravioli!
She loves Spare Gus so much, she is growing a giant mutant one in the front yard.
Look at how big it is!
The Spare Gus is almost as tall as our house.
At least our fridge will be full for a little while.
