See that shed door? The machine that washes the girl's clothes is hiding in there.
See the hose that is dripping? Our girl uses the hose to fill that machine because it doesn't always fill with water the way it is supposed to.
Today the girl got home from work, filled the machine with water, and put clothes in it. Then she fell asleep!
I heard the machine run the water again (rinse cycle) and woke the girl up so she could fill it back with the hose. I'm such a good helper and the girl thought so too! She gave me a chicken jerkey treat!
She claims she's going to buy a new machine next week, but I'm not convinced. She's been using the broken machine for 3 years!!

You are the Helper of the Day! Imagine what would have happened had you not been on alert! You so deserved the treat! Tell your girl not to feel bad, mom had to buy a new clothese washer because ours suddenly started screaming and it made me howl...the repair guy said it would cost $500 to fix or dad found a reconditioned used one for less.

ReplyDeleteWow! What a smart helper!!!! Do you think you might like to come to my house and teach my brother and foster sister how to do something USEFUL?? All they do is play and sleep all day long! Geez - I have to do the chores, guard the house, listen for stranger danger......an eskie's work is never done!!
