Comet and BLU were dogs, who captured their thoughts in blogs. They wrote random bits in a battle of wits, because they weren’t taken out on jogs.

Struck by lightning!
No, we weren't struck by lightning, but something was last night! We had a really bad storm with lots of thunder, lighting, wind, and rain. Our electricity turned off, then on, then off, then on, then off again. It was really really scary! REALLY SCARY!
BLU and I were pacing and hiding, and the girl thought we were being silly for being afraid. That was until a big lighting bolt went KABOOM and hit a pigeon and knocked it right out of the air! And it CRASHED right in front of our house! Who was the silly one now? After that, the girl was scared of the storm too!

OMG, thank goodness that you weren't struck by lightning! Poor Mr. Pigeon!
ReplyDeleteWe had thunder and lightning at our house last night too! I hate storms!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

Wow, a fried pigeon! How unlucky was he?!! Glad the thunder and lightning didn't get you. I hate those bad storms.

A sure sign that God hates pigeons like the rest of us... wonder why he made them? Oh yeah, so he could skeet shoot them out of the sky with lightening. Nice shot!

Tsk-tsk-tsk... Poor bugger! Luckily it wasn't any you guys. I wouldn't want to see any of my friends roasted!

HOLY CRAP!!! That is the scariest thing I have ever seen. I hope this storm crap is over, I hate the monsoons!!
ReplyDeleteGlad that you two and your girl were safe in the storm. What was that silly pigeon doing flying around in it? I like to be tucked into my bed when it is thundering.
ReplyDeleteYour friend,
Niamh
Poor pigeon. But after all it was dead and cooked... Too bad you didn't get to taste it. That must have scared you a lot-- having lightening that close.

Wow, that pigeon got cooked! It was his unlucky day. I'm glad you three weren't cooked!
